Dick’s Classic Motors is proud to present this 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sports Coupe for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Oldsmobile Cutlass, produced by GM’s Oldsmobile division between 1961 and 1999, was named after the Vought F7U Cutlass (a US Navy carrier jet fighter) and a type of sword, known for its short, broad blade ideal for slashing. This vintage beauty is a perfect representation of the era, combining performance with timeless style.
The interior features bucket seats upholstered in Parchment vinyl, along with a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panels accented in black. The dashboard has a small crack on the driver’s side, adding to the car’s character. The factory gauges remain in place, including the 120-mph speedometer, fuel, wipers, and gen/oil/hot gauges. It also features the original AM radio and a classic 3-spoke black steering wheel. Newer black pile carpeting has been installed throughout the cabin. The heat works, but the A/C does not, and while the wipers do not currently function, the horn is operational.
The Cutlass was originally finished in Cameo Ivory (T-T) and is said to have been repainted during previous ownership. The trim and brightwork remain in excellent condition, preserving its classic beauty. The C/S badging is correctly placed, ensuring that the car maintains its vintage appeal. This is truly a restored classic with a nod to the past, blending nostalgia with charm.
Under the hood lies the iconic “Jetfire Rocket” 330 cubic inch V8, delivering 250 horsepower and mated to a smooth 3-speed automatic transmission with a 2-barrel carburetor. The consignor notes that it has recently received a tune-up. Additional features include power steering and power drum brakes (all around). Mostly original, this car provides an authentic driving experience that enthusiasts love. It runs and drives great, ensuring that the ride is as enjoyable as the look.
